What is Organic Fertilizer?

Most fertilizers in this class are made of poultry byproducts or composted waste products. There is even research being done at Michigan State University to create a lawn fertilizer from soybean byproducts.

What does it look like?

Organic Fertilizers will not leave yellow and white granules all over your lawn!

They will be predominantly brown granules!

What does OMRI Certified mean?

An OMRI-listed product has been tested to make sure that it is compatible with the practices of organic farming. OMRI Listed® products are allowed for use in certified organic operations under the USDA National Organic Program.

How is the Weed Control All-Natural?

 Its active ingredient is solely iron, a naturally occurring element, meaning it does not contain synthetic chemicals like 2,4-D or glyphosate commonly found in traditional herbicides. Essentially it kills weeds by overloading them with iron, which is toxic to them in large quantities while being relatively safe for grass and the environment
